Terms and Conditions of Accommodation

Athos Guesthouse – Pension, Ouranoupolis

By making a reservation and/or staying at “Athos Guesthouse – Pension”, guests unconditionally accept these binding terms and conditions.

  1. Reservations & Confirmation
  • The reservation is considered valid only after the advance payment or payment has been made.
  • The amount of the advance payment is communicated at the time of booking.
  • The guesthouse reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the agreed advance payment or payment has not been made within the specified time period.
  • Reservations can be made by phone, by email or through the official website of the accommodation. The reservation is considered valid only after confirmation by the guesthouse.
  • The guesthouse reserves the right to request an advance payment or a guarantee by credit/debit card.
  1. Cancellation Policy
  • In case of cancellation or no-show for non-refundable reservations, no amount will be refunded.
  • In case of cancellation or no-show for all other reservations up to one (1) week before the arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded.
  • In case of no-show without notice, the guesthouse reserves the right to charge the entire reservation.
  • In case of late cancellation or no-show, the total amount of the stay or part thereof may be charged unless a new reservation is made for the cancelled dates up to one week before arrival.
  • During periods of high demand or special offers, special cancellation conditions apply, which are communicated at the time of booking.
  1. Arrival & Departure
  • Check-in: from 15:00
  • Check-out: until 10:30
  • Early arrival or late departure is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  1. Payments
  • Payment of any remaining amount is due upon arrival unless otherwise agreed.
  • Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted.
  • All prices are quoted in euros (€) and include statutory taxes, unless otherwise stated.
  • The hostel reserves the right to change prices without notice for future bookings.
  1. Accommodation & Conduct
  • Guests must observe the rules of decency and respect other guests and the accommodation.
  • Any wear and tear or damage to the equipment or premises of the hostel will be charged to the person responsible.
  • In case of serious or repeated inappropriate behavior, the hostel reserves the right to immediately evict the guest without refund.
  • Familiarize yourself with the location of your room (see escape plan) and the route to the emergency exit.
  • Mark the location of the fire extinguishers you see on the plan in their actual location.
  • Mark the location of the fire alarms and sirens.
  • AS SOON AS YOU NOTICE a fire, call the FIRE DEPARTMENT immediately on 199.
  • Use the fire extinguishers immediately according to the instructions written on them.
  • It is PROHIBITED to use various heat sources or open flames in the rooms (e.g. fireplace, gas stove, electric burner, etc.)
  • It is PROHIBITED to heat the rooms with individual heaters that operate with any fuel as well as with electric heaters, especially if they have incandescent surfaces.
  • When leaving the room, please turn off the air-conditioning and lights for safety reasons.
  • It is not allowed to prepare food in the rooms using a fireplace, gas stove, electric burners and any other devices.
  • There is the possibility of laundry and luggage storage after consultation with the reception, as well as transportation (e.g. to and from the airport) service provided by external partners.

  1. Pets
  • Pets are allowed only upon prior arrangement and under specific conditions.
  • The guesthouse reserves the right to refuse to accommodate pets.
  • The owners are fully responsible for the behavior, cleanliness and any damage that may be caused.
  1. Smoking
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the accommodation.
  • In case of violation, a cleaning fee may be imposed. The guesthouse also reserves the right to immediately leave the guest without refund.
  1. Children & Extra Bed
  • Children can be accommodated.
  • The extra bed is provided only upon prior arrangement and is charged additionally.
  1. Quiet Hours
  • Guests are required to observe quiet hours:
  • 15:00 – 17:30
  • 23:00 – 07:00
  1. Liability
  • “Athos Guesthouse – Pension” is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings, money or valuables. You can request a safe in your room after consulting with the reception with an additional charge.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal safety during their stay.
  1. Personal Data
  • Personal data is used exclusively for booking and hosting purposes, in accordance with the applicable legislation on personal data protection (GDPR).
  1. Modifications to terms
  • The guesthouse reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
  • The applicable terms are those published at the time of booking.
